Jerry is an exceptional business professional with extensive experience in Community Economic Development, Business Development and Recruitment, Workforce Development and Training, Airport and Real Estate Development, Personal and Commercial Insurance, Business Financing, and General Aviation.
Jerry is a former Marine Sergeant who actively participates in various educational, and community organizations to further youth opportunities in his community. Jerry is an avid golfer, sports fan, husband, and father to two grown children. Jerry and his wife have recently celebrated 40 great years of marriage.
Brief Experience History
Jerry has spent much of his time working at the State and Municipal level working to recruit businesses to several Texas cities helping to create jobs, economic prosperity, and a higher quality of life.
Jerry is currently Director of Workforce Training assisting manufacturing, maritime, health and information technology industry in meeting the current and future needs of industrial and aerospace workforce development.
In his various capacities Jerry has engaged and facilitated meetings with business and community leaders, federal, state and local officials, law enforcement, real estate developers, site selectors, school districts, and many other officials.
Jerry has succeeded in winning multiple awards in the fields of sales, and marketing. Earning President and Honor Ring inductions from multiple agencies. Jerry has extensive certification hours in Sales, Marketing, Economic Development, Ethics, Recruitment Outreach and Lead Generation, Workforce Development. Jerry continually seeks to improve his professional knowledge, accreditations and alliances through educational conferences, seminars and/or webinars.
